NEW IoT & AIS PARTNERSHIPS
LuxSpace strengthens its OrbitSailor platform with Kin’AIS
Kinéis and LuxSpace, a recognized European space player and pioneer in satellite AIS solutions, have signed a strategic partnership to enrich Europe’s maritime data offerings. LuxSpace now integrates Kin’AIS, Kinéis’ AIS data solution, into its OrbitSailor platform, providing its customers with a global and precise view of maritime traffic.
“In addition to providing an independent AIS data source, Kinéis data stands out through its ability to independently geolocate AIS messages. We firmly believe this approach will enable us to deliver a more robust and comprehensive global maritime situational awareness picture to our customers, as well as new analytics and insights that are simply not possible with other AIS data providers,” says Gerd Eiden, Director of LuxSpace’s AIS Business Department.
OSB, a collaboration to connect Vietnam
OSB Group, Vietnam’s leader in satellite technologies and communications, has chosen Kinéis to accelerate the deployment of satellite IoT solutions in Vietnam. Together, the two companies will develop and market solutions tailored to local needs, particularly in agriculture, maritime, logistics, and environmental monitoring.
OSB will oversee the design, manufacturing, and development of satellite terminals and custom applications aligned with Vietnam’s strategic priorities. The goal? To ensure end-to-end IoT connectivity across the entire country.
FREQUENCIES AND SPECTRA
The sovereign DNA of Space IoT
In a rapidly evolving space sector, radio spectrum  is as strategic an asset as infrastructure itself. Without access to frequencies, no transmission or connectivity is possible.
Kinéis has therefore adopted a spectral strategy optimized for the specific needs of satellite IoT: an approach centered on the UHF band, combining low power consumption, robustness, and global coverage. Rather than aiming for high data rates, we prioritize short, targeted transmissions, allowing millions of connected objects to share the same resource without interference, with reliable connectivity anywhere on Earth. Additionally, Kinéis is the first European operator to secure spectrum in the S-band, paving the way for tomorrow’s NTN connectivity.
Furthermore, Kinéis is committed to shaping international standards by joining the ITU and SG4 group. The goal:
- Protecting IoT frequency bands against the increasing congestion of low Earth orbits,
- Developing 5G NTN standards, enabling seamless hybrid terrestrial and satellite connectivity,
- Promoting sustainable space management, essential for future generations.
Tomorrow’s connectivity must be global, efficient, and interoperable. A vision we are helping to shape.
EVENTS
Kinéis shines at SatelliteAsia and Eurosatory
In May and June 2026, Kinéis participated in two key trade shows: SatelliteAsia  in Singapore to strengthen its visibility in Southeast Asia as a SatCom operator, and Eurosatory in Paris to highlight its sovereign IoT and AIS solutions for defense and security.
At Eurosatory, Kinéis gained enhanced visibility among defense stakeholders, showcasing its Individual Positioning Beacon (BIP), which enables the tracking and coordination of personnel and equipment in degraded environments.
THE KINÉIS DOCUMENTARY
Behind the scenes of Europe’s first constellation
How was the Kinéis constellation industrialized and deployed in record time?
Through exclusive footage and testimonials from teams mobilized over several years, the documentary “Kinéis Mission” takes you into the heart of the human, industrial, and technological adventure that led to the deployment of 25 satellites.
From satellite assembly to launch operations, explore the behind-the-scenes story of an exceptional French space project, now available online.
IoT DEPLOYMENT
The performance engine for your operations
IoT is no longer an option: its market is being reinvented. For technology companies (VARs, integrators), this is an opportunity to transition from one-off sales to recurring, more profitable, and sustainable services. Your clients, whether in water industries, energy, logistics, or maritime, need to monitor their equipment remotely, even in poorly served areas.
The solution? Satellite connectivity. IoT becomes a sustainable revenue lever, but only if you choose the right connectivity and business model. Discover how to turn this revolution into a business opportunity. What do you need to know before getting started? How can you advise your VARs?
Are you ready to embrace the IoT shift?
