The first quarter of 2026 builds on Kinéis’ commercial momentum, with new contracts signed, continued ecosystem development, and a growing international presence. Discover the key highlights of the past few months and what lies ahead.
KIN’AIS BY KINÉIS CRUISING AT FULL SPEED
LSEG and Lloyd’s List Intelligence choose Kinéis S-AIS data
Following the signing of Wood Mackenzie and Vortexa at the end of 2025, Kin’AIS, Kinéis’ maritime data collection solution, continues its commercial momentum by attracting new leading players.
LSEG strengthens its offering with global maritime visibility
A major player in financial market infrastructure worldwide, LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) has launched its new Vessel Tracking API, designed to provide comprehensive visibility of maritime flows and cargo movements.
To ensure a high level of quality and coverage, LSEG relies on leading partners. Kinéis provides global satellite AIS coverage, while Wood Mackenzie complements this with more than 3,400 terrestrial AIS stations covering over 95% of global commercial ports.
Lloyd’s List Intelligence enhances its global coverage
A global leader in maritime data and intelligence, Lloyd’s List Intelligence is also integrating Kin’AIS into its tracking and analytics solutions.
This partnership aims to strengthen global coverage, improve data resilience, and provide enhanced visibility, including in the most complex maritime areas.
Customers benefit from reliable, actionable AIS data for decision-making, risk analysis, and global activity monitoring.
A key milestone for Kinéis in a fast-growing market
These new collaborations illustrate the relevance and competitiveness of the Kin’AIS offering in a rapidly expanding strategic market.
The maritime data and services market is experiencing sustained growth, driven in particular by AIS and satellite technologies, with an estimated annual growth rate of around 7% to 10%.
In this context, Kinéis confirms its position as a key player in satellite maritime data, capable of meeting growing demands for coverage, reliability, and data usability.
IoT IN 2030
From growth to strategic shift
The global IoT market is entering a new phase of maturity, with nearly 39 billion connected devices expected by 2030. Beyond growth, a true paradigm shift is underway: the market is moving from a volume-driven approach to one focused on value, resilience, and integration.
While consumer use cases still represent a significant share of connections, industrial deployments are now structuring the market. Driven by an annual growth rate exceeding 20%, industrial IoT is emerging as a strategic engine, with systems integrated into the core of critical operations: energy, transport, infrastructure, and logistics.
These long lifecycle deployments—often lasting 10 to 20 years—require high standards in terms of reliability, security, and service continuity. As a result, connectivity is no longer a commodity but becomes critical infrastructure.
Another major development is the emergence of hybrid models combining terrestrial networks and satellite connectivity. Satellite IoT is becoming an essential complement to extend coverage, secure communications, and connect assets in remote or hard-to-access areas.
In Europe, this trend is part of a broader infrastructure transformation, with a market expected to exceed $270 billion by 2030, particularly in highly regulated sectors where resilience and compliance are key.
The result: an increasingly structured IoT ecosystem, where performance depends as much on connectivity as on the ability to integrate, orchestrate, and leverage data at scale.

KINÉIS EVENTS
What if we connected?
During the first quarter of 2026, Kinéis teams participated in numerous events, as visitors or exhibitors, to engage with their ecosystem and strengthen their international visibility.
We were notably present at the 18th European Space Conference in Brussels, as well as Paris Space Week and Perspectives Spatiales, with a speaking session on industrial space sovereignty.
Kinéis also exhibited at Mobile World Congress, which highlighted a strong convergence between telecommunications and satellite operators around a shared objective: delivering seamless global connectivity without network interruptions.

DATE OF THE MONTH
High Five – March 18, 2025
One year ago, on March 18, 2025, Kinéis reached a decisive milestone with the launch of its last five satellites aboard Rocket Lab’s Electron rocket, from the Māhia Peninsula (New Zealand), during the “High Five” mission.
This launch marked the successful completion of a space campaign, complementing the 20 satellites already in orbit and finalizing the Kinéis constellation.
Today, all 25 nanosatellites are fully operational in low Earth orbit, providing continuous global coverage.
A technological and human achievement opening a new era for satellite connectivity, with IoT and AIS services capable of transmitting data in near real time, anywhere on Earth.
