Euronaval 2026: Kinéis gives a live demonstration of its satellite AIS & anti-spoofing

Press release • 29 October, 2026

From 3 to 6 November 2026, Kinéis, the 1st European satellite operator for IoT and AIS connectivity, will exhibit at Euronaval, Paris Nord Villepinte (Hall 6 – Stand F93). On its stand, the operator will give live demonstrations of its Kin’AIS and Kin’Trust63 data streams on its visualisation platform, and will speak at two round tables on maritime surveillance and operational stealth. Its presence reflects the growing role of sovereign satellite AIS data in maritime security.

Global, verified maritime data

Originally designed as an anti-collision system, AIS (Automatic Identification System) can only be received from shore up to 50 to 100 km off the coast. From space, coverage becomes global, in a vessel tracking market expected to grow from USD 461 million in 2026 to USD 1 billion by 2035(1).

Kin’AIS: global satellite AIS visibility
Equipped with multi-element antennas, Kinéis satellites detect up to 90,000 vessels a day, with 100,000 MMSI identifiers processed and 10 million messages. Integrated by customers including Lloyd’s List Intelligence, LSEG and LuxSpace, Kin’AIS supports maritime security and defence, environmental protection and the monitoring of economic flows.

Kin’Trust63: anti-spoofing made in France
AIS messages are self-reported: a vessel can transmit an incorrect or even falsified position. Broadcast via message 63, a format specific to Kinéis, Kin’Trust63 provides of positions independent of the declared position, with an average accuracy of 5 km, to detect inconsistencies and spoofing scenarios.

When a declared position is no longer enough, trust in data becomes a matter of sovereignty. With Kin’AIS and Kin’Trust63, we provide a global view of maritime traffic and the means to verify it. Euronaval is the opportunity to show it live. says Thomas Hiriart, General Manager of Kinéis

Live demonstration on booth F93

On a live map with global coverage, the visualisation platform brings together the Kin’AIS stream and Kin’Trust63 positions, with consistency checks (MMSI identifier, speed, etc.).
Designed for Kinéis distribution partners and their customers, it lets them assess the data before any integration.

INVITATION

Wednesday, November 4 at 3:00 PM, Hall 6 – booth F93

Kinéis’ team of experts will unveil their new data visualization platform and host a presentation dedicated to their maritime traffic data (AIS) and the performance of their anti-spoofing solution.
This event will be an opportunity to explore concrete use cases, learn how to secure geolocation data against spoofing risks, and engage directly with our specialists.

Two round tables on thursday 5 november

  • 2:45 pm – “High intensity and maritime spaces: the challenge of hybrid, agile and responsive surveillance”, organised by Airbus Helicopters, with Thomas Hiriart, CEO: interoperability, operational agility and data fusion in the face of hybrid threats;
  • 3:45 pm – “Operational stealth in the hyper-detection era”, organised by Hemeria, with Cédric Mazas, Head of Defence (45 min, Euronaval conference area): how fleets can remain stealthy as sensors grow ever more numerous and interconnected.
