This strategic partnership enables the direct integration of Kinéis satellite technology into the STM32WL microcontroller family, thereby simplifying the development of reliable and industrial-ready satellite IoT solutions.

The STM32WL Range: Native Compatibility with Kinéis Satellite IoT

The STM32WL series is the first commercial microcontroller family compatible with Kinéis Satellite IoT modulation. Thanks to the Kinéis software stack, manufacturers can develop connected devices more quickly, capable of communicating with Kinéis satellites anywhere in the world.

The STM32WL is a wireless microcontroller that integrates a sub-GHz radio transceiver. It allows both the application code and the Kinéis software stack to be embedded within a single component.

Simplified and Proven Software Integration

The Kinéis stack is provided as a precompiled library that is easy to integrate. It can generate Kinéis modulations and ensure direct communication with the satellite constellation.

This approach significantly reduces development cycles and hardware costs by relying on components already available on the market, while ensuring a robust and proven integration.
